JD & Hannah’s Cozy Winter Wedding

Montana often shows off her coldest days in the early months of the year. On this specific January week we experienced one of the coldest snaps all year, dropping lower, but hovering at a crisp -20 degrees with the sunshine. The mountain backdrop at Copper Rose Ranch is one of our all time favorites, but when the weather gets below zero and the peaks our covered in snow in the winter it is truly breathtaking. Despite the frigid temperatures, JD’s and Hannah’s genuine warmth and affection set the tone for the day (although I do think Hannah’s tear froze to her face during their first look). Their guests followed suit as they embraced the cold excitably, contributing to a day of memories filled with joy and celebration. Naturally, a winter wedding comes an early sunset, but an elegant ambiance of candlelit tables and soft music made for one of the coziest and most welcoming receptions we’ve had the pleasure of being a part of. The tables were masterfully crafted with the most tasteful greenery and florals.

This wedding stands out not only because of the cold temps and frosty peaks, but because of the pure joy and enthusiasm that JD, Hannah, and their loved ones emulated throughout the day. You could tell that the wedding wasn’t the product to them, it was the celebration of the start to their marriage, and to us that is a very special thing to capture.
